Glossary
The key Ichiban Kuji terms, with their Japanese spellings. Brand and product-line names are deliberately left untranslated.
- 一番くじ / Ichiban Kuji
- BANDAI SPIRITS in-store lottery in which every ticket wins. Literally "number one lottery".
- 賞 (shō)
- The prize tier. A賞 is the top tier, followed by B賞, C賞 and so on.
- ラストワン賞 / Last One Prize
- Bonus prize for whoever draws the final ticket of a set. Exactly one exists per draw.
- ダブルチャンス / Double Chance
- Follow-up raffle: submit your receipt or ticket code for a chance at an additional exclusive figure.
- 全n種 / n variants
- How many different versions make up one tier — for example five different charms within the same tier.
- MASTERLISE
- BANDAI SPIRITS product line for particularly detailed sculpts. Never translated.
- EXPIECE
- Product line for elaborate One Piece scenes, often with a scenic base. Frequently combined as MASTERLISE EXPIECE.
- Q posket
- Product line of stylised chibi figures with oversized heads, mostly female characters.
- Revible Moment
- Product line featuring dynamic two-figure scenes depicting a fight or exchange.
- SOFVICS
- Soft-vinyl product line in the sofubi tradition, stylised with broad flat paintwork.
- DXF
- Older, simpler figure line ("Deluxe Figure"), usually standing without an elaborate base.
- 景品 (keihin)
- The prize item itself — every figure, towel or charm in a draw.
- Set / セット
- The complete package of tickets and prizes a retailer buys and puts out in store.
- Reissue / 再販
- A re-release of a previously published set, usually unchanged and dated later.
- Prize figure
- Umbrella term for figures released as lottery prizes rather than through regular retail.
